The opportunity

Providing strategic guidance and bespoke field-based consultancy services to our network of firms within Openwork, this is a role key to the growth of the business. Alongside the Head of Business Consultancy, You'll lead the design, delivery, evaluation, and ongoing improvement of the Business Consultancy strategy, aimed at enhancing capacity and efficiency of Openwork Partners, advisers, and their staff members.
 
Key focus will be on maximising operational efficiency and driving forward positive change within our partner firms. Actively involved with all key strategic programmes of work Partnering for Growth(P4G) and Route to Principal (R2P), this role collaborates closely with key stakeholders, and other SME’s throughout the business to share network best practice and to implement the Business Consultancy strategy.

  • Salary - up to £75,000
  • Bonus - 15% on target
  • Annual car allowance - £4236
  • Pension scheme - contribute up to 5% of your salary and Openwork will match you and put in an extra 5%

What will you need to succeed?

  • Extensive experience within the UK Financial Services marketplace.
  • Comprehensive and practical understanding of Financial Services systems and processes and their impact on firm administration, client management and overall efficiency and capacity to drive Growth.
  • Previous knowledge and use of CRM/contact systems, and/or experience in the use of other contact management tools.
  • Good understanding of how different business practices, operating models and product propositions can benefit different types of businesses and their customers.
  • Established consultative skills with an ability to engage with and influence business owners.
  • High levels of personal impact and credibility.
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified.
  • Strong relationship and consultancy skills with an ability to gain entry to, and influence, business owners, advisers and others
  • High levels of personal impact – professional and calm, with an ability to see things clearly in terms of perspective and value.
