The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven professional to oversee our Vetting and Training Administration processes, ensuring full compliance with company policies and all relevant regulatory requirements and Right to Work legislation in the UK.  This role plays a key part in managing end-to-end recruitment, pre-assessment learning, onboarding, and ongoing training and competence processes while maintaining adherence to FCA guidance.

You will lead and support the vetting team through regular quality audits, coaching and performance monitoring, and will also manage financial monitoring cases to ensure advisers meet both regulatory standards and key performance indicators. 
 
This is a Home Based role.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • You will supervise Owl Operations & Vetting team reporting to Operations & Risk Manager.
  • Operate within the OWL T&C scheme, risk-based recruitment program for new Advisers within the Owl Financial sales force.
  • Supervise the recruitment program for new OWL advisers, ensure all applications are screened in line with Fit and Proper guidelines.
  • Supervise the team in all aspects of day-to-day activities including quality checks monthly.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders in Owl to ensure Operation and Vetting issues are managed across the Owl sales force.
  • To assess adviser’s personal financial situations within the risk framework, the preparation of recommendations to key stakeholders within Openwork/Owl. 
  • To remain under contract or terminate to key stakeholders within penwork/Owl.
  • Maintain process procedures across all aspects of the role to ensure consistency of application and approach.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Experience managing high performing team and managing under performance.
  • Knowledge of the vetting process in a regulatory environment.
  • Ability to maintain team morale while enforcing compliance and standards.
  • Data protection awareness and confidentiality handling.
  • Experience in maintaining and improving processes for consistency and compliance
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to lead by example and uphold company values.
  • Strong attention to detail
