As the Omnis Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for some, and supportive of, a range of Omnis’ operational service delivery, relationship management and programme management activities.
The Relationship Manager acts as the primary contact with Omnis’ outsourced Transfer Agency and Shareholder relationships.
In addition, you will act as the subject matter expert and escalation for the day to day operational aspects of the Firm's discretionary fund management activities. Activities include maintaining discretionary model portfolios, ensuring delegated Platform services are delivered to agreed standards, query resolution and overseeing DFM changes for all platforms. Ensuring trained and competent resources are available on any day to effect portfolio changes. They will also provide support to the Senior Operations Manager, as required.
You'll also be responsible for the direct line management and development of team members and other resources to support the above activities.
This role is based in our London office with some flexible working.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform a range of daily settlement, treasury and dealing oversight activities, including administering Distributions.
- Act as the Transfer Agency subject matter expert.
- Act as the primary contact point for all Transfer Agency related issues.
- Maintain the Omnis Shareholder Register in line with regulatory obligations.
- Produce a range of management information reports and perform a variety of daily quality assurances.
- Review Transfer Agency deliverables and key performance indicators, facilitate regular service management meetings with the outsourced Transfer Agency ensuring obligations are delivered via appropriate controls.
- Conduct ongoing due diligence and quality assurance reviews, ensuring controls remain effective.
- Act as the Client Money/CASS SME during external audit reviews.
- Represent Omnis at Transfer Agency Management Company Forums as well as change and development meetings.
- Approve or decline IT changes at the Transfer Agency, referring to Omnis Compliance as necessary.
- Relationship manager will liaise with Shareholders, Distributors and Platforms with activities to include reviewing and maintaining service agreements, agreeing operational processes, and resolving queries.
- Work with the Senior Operations Manager to implement new Shareholder fund agreements where required.
- As required, provide initial and ongoing due diligence and oversight of the platform management services required by Openwork Limited and 2plan as primary Distributors.
- Daily platform reviews to ensure the system is accessible for DFM.
- Act as the DFM subject matter expert, training others to support the agreed processes and controls.
- Act as the primary contact point for all DFM related issues. Keeping close to the Investment Team to anticipate resource and support requirements.
- Execute, validate and review tactical asset allocation changes for the Discretionary Model Portfolios.
- Conduct timely execution reviews for discretionary related activities.
- Respond to technical queries associated with Discretionary Model Portfolios.
- Resolve breaches, errors and complaints overseeing any detriment payments, where required.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner to minimise any potential Customer risk or financial impact.
- Work with the Senior Operations Manager to implement new DFM legal agreements where required.
