The opportunity

As the Financial Monitoring Senior Administrator you will maintain and report on Appointed Representatives (AR) related activities and provide support to the Financial Monitoring Assessors where required.
 
You will support the assessment of the solvency and fitness and propriety of all the Appointed Representatives (AR). Supporting the assessor, as required, in understanding and interpreting financial monitoring risk. As well as provide advice & guidance in support of the assessment of an AR ‘fit and properness’ and commercial risk.
 
This is a 12 month fixed term contract hybrid role based in our Swindon office, where you will be required to work from the office two days a week.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Collate and maintain accurate Appointed Representative (AR) financial monitoring data.
  • Effective management of the appropriate mailboxes on daily basis.
  • Collate and maintain complete audit trails of AR financial monitoring data collection.
  • Comply with GDPR rules specifically data retention.
  • Administration support to Assessors.
  • Production and monitoring of reports.
  • Ensure audit actions are completed by given deadlines and to the required standards.

 

What will you need to succeed?

  • Experience in a financial services organisation.
  • Experience of working with MI
  • Competent in all aspects of Microsoft Office including Excel.
  • Using initiative to support the Assessors.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Ability to organise own workloads.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise.
  • Strong attention to detail.
