The opportunity

As the Senior Relationship Manager, you will co-lead the delivery of Omnis’ messages and support advisers with Omnis queries. The key purposes of the role are to increase awareness and understanding of Omnis’ investment strategies and principles, as well as increase adoption of Omnis products and services.

You will drive the communication of investment strategies to advisers with the goal of growing assets under management. Help advisers promote more Omnis products and to retain existing business.

This is a field based role with regular travel across the country.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Co-leading the delivery of Omnis’ key messages.
  • Building strong relationships with our network of financial advisers.
  • Lead a team of relationship managers ensuring that regional activities are in-line with goals set up between Omnis and 2plan/Openwork.
  • Monitor, track and report on adviser activities and asset flows.
  • Liaise with 2plan and/or Openwork central teams to ensure most effective deployment of activities and resource.
  • Attend regular meetings with advisers, in person and via Teams.
  • Work closely with the Investment Director and other Relationship Managers to provide adviser feedback to the business.
  • Work collaboratively with the Omnis teams to ensure up-to-date information is being shared with advisers.
  • Ensure consistency of activities across all Relationship Managers.
  • Give presentation at regional events and roadshows on the Omnis proposition.

What will you need to succeed?

  • An understanding of financial advisers and their needs to recommend investment solutions.
  • An interest in financial markets and investment management.
  • Good organisation and time management skills with an ability to deliver against deadlines and manage diary effectively.
  • Relationship management skills - be able to build rapport and manage relationships effectively.
  • A reasonable understanding of Financial Markets and economic theories.
  • Experience managing sales/distribution teams.
