The opportunity

Sitting within the Transformation Office (TMO) and reporting to the Head of Transformation Office, as the Transformation Office Analyst you will support the Head of Transformation Officer in coordinating and managing the end-to-end Transformation activity across the firm.

You will work across all areas of the TMO and be required to support with:

  • Master planning and maintenance
  • Change control and governance
  • Benefits tracking and KPI’s
  • Reporting & communications
  • Transformation RAID management
  • Costs & Financials
  • Resource & capacity management
  • Tooling & Frameworks

You will play a lead role in supporting Programme Managers, Project Managers and Business Analysts in delivery. You will also be responsible for ensuring all key decisions, minutes and actions are accurately recorded and stored for audit purposes / traceability.

This is a hybrid role based in our Swindon office.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain plans and ensure they reflect live status.
  • Understand dates, dependencies and interconnectivity between activities.
  • Maintain all master planning data such as key milestones and dates.
  • Maintain all RAID information.
  • Ensure requests for changes to scope, dates, costs and benefits are logged and reported.
  • Ensure decisions are recorded, logged and communicated.
  • Ensure change request process and governance is understood.
  • Own the master list of all project benefits and KPI’s and ensure linkage with strategic measures.
  • Support the Head of TMO in reporting and MI related to benefit realisation.
  • Support the Head of TMO in producing reports and communications.
  • Support the Head of TMO in managing transformation costs and provide accurate forecasting.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Experience working in Change & Transformation, either in PMO or delivery roles.
  • Management Consulting or Professional Services background is beneficial.
  • Have an understanding of the full project lifecycle including the key actors and roles within a project.
  • Have a track record in managing and maintaining delivery plans and key delivery information such as RAID data.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of project management lifecycle, techniques and tools.
  • Understanding of Programme Management Methodologies.
  • Understanding of Project Governance and Assurance.
  • Financial Services Experience would be beneficial.
  • Be an ambitious ‘go getter’ who uses initiative and acts without having to be asked.
  • Skilled at managing stakeholder groups, comfortable with communicating at all levels to ensure reporting deadlines are achieved.
  • Be able to work at pace and can deliver multiple priorities at once.
