The opportunity

We are looking for detailed driven and proactive Transfer Agency & Platform Officer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for performing oversight activities and daily checks on the Transfer Agency, institutional Shareholders (e.g. Zurich) and Platforms.  

  

This is a hybrid role based 2 days per week in our London office.

Key accountabilities  

  • You will perform a range of daily settlement, treasury and dealing oversight activities including overseeing Distributions.
  • Manage all Transfer Agency related issues alongside the Relationship Manager and Data Analyst. 
  • Handle Shareholder Register maintenance including Transfer Agency referrals and new account set up.
  • Produce management information reports and perform daily quality assurance checks.
  • Review Transfer Agency deliverables and key performance indicators, attend regular meetings with the outsourced Transfer Agency service provider.
  • Support ongoing due diligence and quality assurance reviews on the Transfer Agency to ensure adherence to Service Level Standards and excellent service delivery.
  •  Resolve breaches, errors and complaints.
  • Support colleagues across Omnis in the administration of their roles e.g., Investment Operations and Fund Accounting.
  • Produce and circulate the Omnis MI file to provide information on Shareholder flows into the Omnis funds.
  •  Resolving DFM related issues, working closely with colleagues and Platforms to minimise any potential Customer risk or financial impact. 
  • Maintain user and Adviser access to the DFM models.
  • Update onboarding matrices and due diligence documentation for new DFM services and new funds.
  • Conduct daily platform reviews to ensure the system is accessible for DFM.
  • Respond to queries associated with the operation and platform functionality in relation to DFM models.
  •  Undertake a range of administration tasks and deputise for other team members, as required 

What will you need to succeed?

  • Experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably in asset management.
  • Achieved, or looking to achieve the CISI Investment Operations Certificate (“IOC”), is preferred.
  • Third Party Service provider oversight management skills.
  •  Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally, recognising that this role is multi-disciplined.
  •  You'll be able to listen and note important points to assimilate information into Committee/Forum Minutes. Writing inserts to Committee/Forum packs is part of this role as well as taking minutes.
  • Well organised with an ability to prioritise multiple activities and see actions through to conclusion. 
  • Honest, open and transparent with high levels of personal and professional integrity
