The opportunity

Join our Transformation Management Office (TMO) at 2plan as a TMO Analyst, where you'll play a key role in delivering our transformation portfolio. 

Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Manager with a dotted line into the Group Change Head of TMO, you'll support the successful delivery of 2plan’s transformation portfolio.

The role typically supports a multi-workstream portfolio, producing weekly/monthly MI and governance packs for senior forums and driving consistent standards across concurrent programmes and projects.

The role provides insight, governance and performance reporting across programmes and projects, ensuring that agreed ways of working, standards, artefacts, resourcing and benefits processes are applied consistently and continuously improved.

Working closely with Portfolio Leads, Change/Transformation colleagues and business stakeholders, the role enables informed decision-making through high-quality management information, analysis and proactive issue/risk escalation.

This is a hybrid role, based 3 days a week in the Leeds office.

Key accountabilities:
  • Define, implement and maintain portfolio reporting standards for 2plan’s transformation change (e.g., RAG status, milestones, dependencies, RAID, benefits/value, budget and resourcing.)
  • Own the end-to-end production of portfolio MI (weekly/monthly) including data collection, validation, consolidation, commentary and insight for senior forums.
  • Perform analysis across plan, progress and delivery outcomes (including slippage/critical path), identifying trends and recommending actions to address emerging risks or performance issues.
  • Support governance by preparing materials for portfolio/programme/project boards (agendas, packs, minutes and actions), and tracking actions to closure.
  • Support resource and demand management processes (capacity, utilisation, onboarding/offboarding, role mapping) and provide clear reporting of constraints and pinch points.
  • Support benefits/value /Finance creation tracking: baseline measures, benefits profiles, dependency mapping, and in-life tracking of realised value and assumptions.
  • Maintain and improve TMO artefacts, templates and guidance; coach colleagues on their use to drive consistent delivery discipline across 2plan.
  • Drive continuous improvement of TMO data quality and ways of working, including automation opportunities (e.g., Power BI/Excel), and pragmatic simplification of processes.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Proven experience in a Transformation Office / TMO / PMO role at portfolio level across multiple programmes/projects.
  • Experience establishing and running governance rhythms (boards/forums): agendas, papers, minutes, action tracking, decision logs.
  • Strong MI/reporting capability: advanced Excel (e.g., Power Query/pivots), dashboards (Power BI preferred), and senior-ready insight/storytelling.
  • Hands-on RAID/dependency/milestone management, including constructive challenge and proactive escalation.
  • Working knowledge of MS Project/Planner and strong PowerPoint/Word for board-ready materials; regulated/Financial Services experience preferred.
  • Knowledge within either IT, Operations or Regulatory transformation.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management, mortgage, and protection products is a plus.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of effective prioritisation of change, budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of project management lifecycle, techniques and tools.
  • Understanding of Programme Management Methodologies.
  • Understanding of Project Governance and Assurance.
  • Financial Services Experience.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise ad plan effectively.
  • Builds strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to collate and produce high quality documentation.
  • Skilled at managing stakeholder groups, comfortable with communicating at all levels.
  • Continuous improvement looks for ways to enhance ways of working across Business Change. This includes suggesting ideas to improve efficiencies, evaluating current processes and finding opportunities to implement.
