We are seeking an experienced risk professional to play a key role in supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing operation of our enterprise risk management framework. In this hands-on position, you will help enable informed, risk-based decision-making across the business while providing independent oversight, challenge, and assurance over first line risk management activities. The role also focuses on embedding a strong risk culture across the organisation and strengthening overall risk management maturity within a regulated financial services environment. This is a hybrid role based 3 days a week out of our Leeds office.

Key responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of risk assessments, analysis and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, Board Committees and Group Risk & Compliance forums.
- Help ensure the enterprise risk and control frameworks are implemented consistently and operate effectively across the business.
- Partner with first line stakeholders to support the identification, assessment, monitoring and negotiation of risks.
- Provide second line oversight and constructive challenge on risk management practices and control design.
- Contribute to risk assessments and risk opinions to support business decisions, projects and change initiatives.
- Maintain and enhance the centralised risk database and incident logs, ensuring data quality and identifying trends, emerging risks and control weaknesses.
- Support risk culture initiatives, including risk training, horizon scanning, thematic reviews and clear risk reporting, while building strong relationships across the business and Group Risk and Compliance.
