This is a senior, influential role with responsibility for leading the development, management and distribution of Openwork’s Wealth Proposition, ensuring it aligns to our strategic objectives, supports adviser success and delivers strong client outcomes.

You’ll act as a key voice for the Wealth proposition across the business, working closely with senior stakeholders, advisers and external partners.

This role is hybrid working, 3 days a week from the Swindon office.

The benefits:

Salary – £96,000 to £120,000
Car Allowance: £7245
Bonus scheme - on target bonus – 30%
Pension scheme - contribute up to 5% of your salary and Openwork will match you and put in an extra 5%

Key accountabilities include:

Leading the end‑to‑end development and ongoing management of Openwork’s Wealth Proposition
Researching the market and competitor landscape to identify opportunities to enhance customer outcomes and drive profitability
Managing and developing strong relationships with product providers and third‑party partners
Providing senior Wealth proposition input into corporate projects, committees and management boards
Shaping and leading proposition‑focused distribution and marketing activity across Openwork and 2plan
Acting as a senior point of contact for Wealth Advisers, supporting their businesses, resolving issues and identifying sales and growth opportunities
Engaging directly with advisers through masterclasses, peer groups and events to support adviser development and proposition adoption

What will you need to succeed?

Extensive experience in wealth product proposition development and management
A proven track record of driving strategic proposition change from design through to successful implementation
Strong commercial acumen and experience managing third‑party providers
Deep understanding of how adviser firms operate and what motivates advisers
Broad technical knowledge across the wealth landscape and strong regulatory awareness
Excellent leadership, influencing, communication and decision‑making skills
A minimum of 5 years’ relevant financial services experience in a regulated environment is essential. A degree or professional financial services / marketing qualification is desirable.
