The opportunity

Working across multiple applications, handling second-line support for issues raised by the Service Desk to fix problems, make system updates, and support on projects and software releases, while following procedures and deadlines.
 
This is a hybrid role based in Swindon 3 days per week, plus being on-call 1 out of 8 weeks.
  • Salary - £37,500 + on-call allowance
  • Bonus scheme - on target bonus - Up to 7.5%
  • Pension scheme - contribute up to 5% of your salary and Openwork will match you and put in an extra 5%

Key responsibilities:
  • Fix issues passed on from the Service Desk
  • Work with other IT teams to resolve problems
  • Keep track of assigned tickets
  • Make updates in the system using set processes
  • Contribute to team documentation and improvements
 
 

What will you need to succeed?

  • Experience in a similar application/IT support role
  • Passion for technology with motivation to fix problems
  • Skills in SQL is a bonus, however not essential
  • Understanding of ITIL is preferred
  • A curious eye to think outside the box
  • A can-do attitude with ability to use intuition
